Skönlitteraturens betydelse i undervisningen har blivit en viktig fråga i skoldebatten. Vad händer om vi aktualiserar känslornas betydelse i relation till de didaktiska frågorna vad, vem, hur, när och varför?
I antologin Litteraturdidaktik och känslor: Litteraturdidaktisk nätverkskonferens 2021 presenteras nya insikter kring litteraturdidaktisk forskning. Boken bygger på Litteraturdidaktiskt nätverks (LDN) konferens 2021 som anordnades av Högskolan i Kristianstad på temat “Litteraturdidaktik och känslor”.
Fyra olika områden av litteraturundervisningen diskuterades: berättande och medier, klassrumspraktiker, litterär gestaltning och läsningens roll i utbildningen. Deltagarna utforskade frågor om hur man kan förena faktaorienterad och upplevelsebaserad läsning, känslors roll i skrivande och läsande, samt hur gestaltning av känslor i skönlitteratur kan användas didaktiskt.
Boken riktar sig till forskare, lärare och alla som är intresserade av litteraturens roll i undervisning – från arbetet i förskolan ända fram till universitetet.
English Abstract
This collection of articles contains some of the highlights from the conference “Literature Didactics and Feelings,” organised by Kristianstad University for the Literature Didactics Network (LDN) in 2021. The articles approach the hows and whys of teaching literature and emotion in school and in higher education. From young readers’ responses to reading and writing short stories, poetry, and fanfiction, to teachers’ struggles and opportunities when it comes to working with emotional responses—and the lack thereof—in the literary classroom, these articles engage with current theories of reception and engagement. The conference proceedings problematise the often dichotomous relationship between “emotion” and “logic” in an attempt to contribute to a nuanced discussion of emotional and cognitive processes in the reading and teaching of literature.
