Marketing and the digital era

Digital publishing combined with Open Access publishing turn old marketing strategies on its head. Warren Adler puts the traditional book launch in the context of digital publishing:

Stockholm University Press is currently in production of the first electronic publications (watch this space!) and we are working closely together with our authors and editorial boards to form a strategy for promoting the digital output and the Open Access model we plan to use.
